Kel Mitchell is an American actor, comedian, musician, and motivational speaker from Chicago, Illinois. He started out with various roles on the Nickelodeon sketch comedy series All That. Other notable shows include Kenan & Kel, Figure It Out, One on One, and Game Shakers. Mitchell’s film credits include Mystery Men (1999), Good Burger (1997), and Like Mike 2: Streetball (2006). He lent his voice to the animated series Clifford the Big Red Dog, Motorcity, and Wild Grinders. Mitchell returns to television in September 2019 as a celebrity contestant on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars. His dance partner, Witney Carson, specializes in Latin ballroom.

The show was created by Mike Tollin and Brian Robbins. Mitchell starred as “Kel Kimble” opposite Kenan Thompson in the teen sitcom Kenan & Kel (1996-2000). They co-starred in the comedy film, Good Burger (1997), directed by Brian Robbins. It made $23.7 million at the box office. Mitchell had a recurring role as “Vincent” on 4 episodes of The Steve Harvey Show (1996-98) and he served as a panelist on the children’s game show Figure It Out (1998-99).
